Papoose Fires Back At Gervonta Davis

On Tuesday, November 3, Papoose took to his Instagram Story to share a message that tagged Gervonta Davis’ Instagram account.

“Roach was getting off on that n***a @gervontaa That n***a said he had grease in his eye [laughing emoji] The girl who did his hair said she ain’t use none. [laughing emoji],” he wrote.

Papoose’s message appeared to refer to Gervonta Davis’ March 2024 boxing match against Lamont Roach Jr. As The Shade Room previously reported, Davis shocked fans when he took a knee amid the match’s ninth round, marking his first “non-win.”

After the fight, Davis alleged that hair grease was dripping into and burning his eye. However, the incident went more viral when Davis’ hairdresser called cap on his statements.

Papoose’s statement was apparently sparked by Gervonta Davis taking to his Instagram Story on Tuesday, November 3, with a message about Claressa Shields. In his post, he shared footage of her flaunting the outfit she wore at her recent listening event. Specifically, her ensemble was a one-piece jumpsuit which featured a lace-up, open bottom.

“@claressashields you look a hot a** mess,” he wrote.
