One of 2 Chainz’s Atlanta restaurants was shut down for not abiding by social distancing guidelines, as per TMZ.

Following a Memorial Day party, Escobar Restaurant & Tapas was closed down because police officers drove by the restaurant and “noticed that the location was rather loud, busy, and occupied to be operating as a restaurant at that time of night.”

Footage of the packed restaurant appeared on the restaurant’s Instagram page. With patrons smoking hookah, dancing, and sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with zero regards for the newly enforced social distancing rules. There was also a line down the block to enter the lit venue.

TMZ says police “spoke to the manager before shutting the location down as it was violating executive orders regarding protocol issued due to COVID-19.”

Governor Brian Kemp started reopening Georgia’s non-essential businesses in late April, and 2 Chainz announced that he would be opening his restaurant to limited services. But after receiving backlash, he decided to feed the homeless instead.

Shortly after the state allowed dine-in services to 10 customers maximum at a table, and 10 customers per 300 square feet.
