Former Bad Boy artist Shyne was recently asked if his association with Diddy tainted his image.

7 News Belize reports the politician was asked about a scholarship he created that bears the mogul’s name and if they still had a relationship.

Shyne, who now goes by the name Moses Michael Levi Barrow, is the Leader of the Opposition in the Belize House of Representatives.

During a recent interview, he was asked if he felt his connection to Diddy — born Sean Combs — and the “cloud of suspicion for nefarious and dubious activity” that surrounds him would affect his image in government.

“I don’t see how, again, I…” he said before he was cut off by the interviewer, Jules Vasquez.

“You offer a scholarship in his name,” Vasquez stated.

Shyne said, “I’ll leave it up to you, sir. A scholarship to educate people has nothing to do…Sir, sir, sir…”

After the Belizean leader quieted the man, he referenced Prime Minister Andre Perez, who had severe accusations made against him by a woman named Wendy Auxillou. Additionally, he stated the woman allegedly fled to the United States for her safety. Barrow claimed the Belizian media swept it under the rug.

“That is what we need to focus on, what an entertainer who has nothing to do with politics, and he’s facing accusations, he has not been convicted of anything…” Shyne stated.

When asked if he still had contact with the Diddler, Barrow said, “I’ve been in touch.”

TMZ published body cam footage of GloRilla’s recent arrest on Thursday, April 18. In the footage, an officer approaches the rapper’s car and asks her how much alcohol she’s had to drink.

In response, Glo tells the officer she’s “cool” and isn’t “drunk or nothing.” The officer continues asking the rapper about her alcohol intake. However, GloRilla continues to insist that she is “okay.”

The officer then informs Glo that she can smell alcohol on her breath and marijuana coming from her car. Then, the officer informs the rapper that she will be searching her vehicle.

From there, Glo tells the officer that she has a registered firearm in her backseat.

At one point in the conversation, Glo even asks the official if she’s aware of who she is.

According to TMZ, once GloRilla was out of the vehicle, she was instructed to participate in a series of sobriety tests. The outlet notes that the rapper appeared to do “pretty decently on most” of the tests.

Here’s What Was Initially Shared After NBA YoungBoy’s Recent Arrest

According to ABC4 Utah, Lt. Mikelshan Bartschi of the Cache County Sheriff’s Office spoke with the outlet earlier this week. At the time, Bartschi explained that a search warrant was executed on YoungBoy’s home on Tuesday. Additionally, the lieutenant noted that officers from the Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, and Homeland Security participated in the search.

“Due to the complexity of the investigation, we will not be releasing any additional details concerning the investigation,” Bartschi reportedly stated. “Current criminal charges for Mr. Gaulden include [a] pattern of unlawful activity. The pattern of unlawful activity includes violations of the Utah Controlled Substances Act, the Identity Fraud Act, and fraud.”

Utah State Legislature reports that the Utah Controlled Substances Act states that a “controlled substance may not be dispensed without the written prescription of a practitioner.”

Then, on April 18, KUTV published a report sharing more information regarding the arrest affidavit related to YoungBoy’s recent detainment. According to the outlet, Cache County authorities believe the rapper is connected to a “large-scale prescription fraud ring.”

Authorities reportedly believe YoungBoy and other individuals called in fraudulent prescriptions by using “the names of real doctors and using fake patient names and birthdates.” Then, “alleged associates” of the rapper are believed to have picked up “the prescriptions from various pharmacies.”

KUTV reports that the investigation began after a pharmacist notified officials about receiving a call from a “doctor” whose contact information did not match the one on file. After contacting the medical professional, the pharmacy was notified that the false incident occurred numerous times. Furthermore, the outlet reports that 15 pharmacies were impacted by the false calls. Additionally, the outlet notes that the attempts did not stop even after law enforcement became involved.

According to the outlet, the arrest affidavit “recommends” 63 charges against the rapper. Additionally, that reportedly includes “20 counts of identity fraud, 20 counts of obtaining a prescription under false pretenses, and 20 counts of forgery.”

The remaining three charges include “one count each” for “possession of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person, engaging in a pattern of unlawful activity, and possession of a controlled substance.”

KUTV notes that during law enforcement’s search of YoungBoy’s residence, “more prescriptions and weapons” were found. Additionally, the rapper’s electronics were seized.

According to Cache County jail records, bail has yet to be set for the rapper.

According to TMZ, the outlet obtained a “new motion” filed by Jeezy. Entertainment Tonight adds that the new filing “clarifies” Jeezy’s request regarding the custody of his and Mai’s 2-year-old daughter, Monaco.

The outlet reports that Jeezy made the new filing on Tuesday, April 16. Additionally, the rapper is now asking for him and Mai to “share joint legal custody and joint physical custody of the minor child.”

Furthermore, the rapper would like a “specific parenting time schedule” to be “determined by the Court consistent with the best interest of the minor child.”

In the filing, Jeezy reportedly noted that he and Mai previously determined a custody schedule for their daughter. However, it “broke down” earlier this year. In addition, Jeezy is accusing Mai of blocking his number, preventing him from speaking to Monaco.

The rapper reportedly asserts that he “really has not had any significant parenting with the minor child all year.”

A Brazilian woman was arrested after wheeling her deceased uncle into a bank in an attempt to secure a loan.

The New York Post reports, Erika de Souza Vieira Nunes was caught on video as she pretended her uncle’s dead corpse was alive.

How Did Erika Pretend Her Dead Uncle Was Alive?

Nunes wanted to get a $3,400 loan co-signed by any means necessary. The wild encounter occurred at the Rio de Janeiro branch of Itau Bank. The disturbing footage aired by TV Global in Brazil, showed her standing next to a man whose body was limp.

Erika attempted to hold his dropping head up, but it was clear something was off. Bank staffers phoned the police. Nunes referred to the man as uncle, and instructed him as she held his hand to sign the necessary paperwork.

“Uncle, are you listening? You need to sign [the loan contract.] If you don’t sign, there’s no way, because I can’t sign for you,” she says in the clip.

Though Erika inserted a pen between his fingers, it was apparent that the man wasn’t listening or living.

“Sign so you don’t give me any more headaches, I can’t take it anymore,” she said to the dead man.

Was Nunes Arrested?

An employee at the bank stated his skin color appeared abnormal and seemed to be unwell. Nunes quickly stated, “He is like that. he doesn’t say anything.”

Once police arrived, Erika was arrested.

Police Chief Fábio Luiz, told TV Globo, “She tried to pretend to get him to sign the loan.” He continued, “He already entered the bank dead.”

It was later determined that he died several hours before entering the financial institution. The man was identified as 68-year-old Paulo Braga. It is unclear if he is Nunes’ uncle. The police are investigating to discover the truth and determine if anyone else was complicit in Erika’s fraudulent attempt. She could possibly face embezzlement, abuse of a corpse, and theft through fraud charges.
